The new H-Sphere 2.4 control panel (CP) is coming soon to Datavend and it will be available to all new and existing Datavend Web Hosting customers.

There are many other new features, fixes and changes in the new H-Sphere 2.4 and we wanted you to be aware of the new release ahead of time. Once we are ready to roll out the updated CP we will notify all of our customers in advance so that you will be prepared for the change.
Once we have released the new CP, we will provide you with an updated H-Sphere Manual on our support website. If you wish to view the current H-Sphere user guide please visit our website: http://www.datavend.net/support and select the link for H-Sphere Manual. You can browse the manual on our website or download .pdf and .zip versions of it for use on your local computer.
We anticipate releasing the new version with the next ninety (90) days and possibly sooner. In that time we encourage you to contact us with your questions or concerns about this new release.

Datavend is proud to offer our customers a tool to help control the flow of Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) a.k.a. SPAM.
“Introducing SpamAssassin(tm); an open-source mail filter to identify spam. Using its rule base, it uses a wide range of heuristic tests on mail headers and body text to identify spam. Once identified, the mail can then be optionally tagged as spam for later filtering using the user's own mail user-agent application or deleted directly from the server. SpamAssassin requires very little configuration. SpamAssassin uses a wide variety of local and network tests to identify spam signatures. This makes it harder for spammers to identify one aspect which they can craft their messages to work around.”

It’s no laughing matter when we say that we are in one of the fastest data centers in the world. Our network and servers are housed in a multi-homed facility (direct connections to the Internet via multiple high-speed bandwidth providers). Surprisingly, not many data centers meet the level of service and performance that we demand for our clients, but we’ve found a state-of-the-art facility that is a geographical winner.
Our new NOC – Network Operations Center is located in Orlando, Florida. This facility is OnNet (directly connected via GigE - Gigabit Ethernet) with Level(3) and Cogent and both providers are actually located in the same data center! The architecture is amazing; it includes private-peering network connections to every major backbone carrier in a one-to-one environment. This means minimal hops and faster data transmission speeds from your server to your visitor.
We’ve also added two additional bandwidth providers; Epik and Qwest to insure our network will never go down due to a problem with any one bandwidth provider. We have the following connections:

With the launch of their newest Web site and hosting services, Datavend Web Hosting a Louisville, Kentucky based service provider is positioning itself as a leader in a small sector of the Web hosting industry offering cutting edge services and elitist support services. Datavend Web Hosting announced today the addition of ten new hosting and e-mail services. The services, due to launch at the first of the New Year include multiple Microsoft Windows/NT, UNIX/FreeBSD and e-mail only hosting plans. Since 2001 Datavend has offered DV2k, their flagship-hosting system for $99 a year. This includes their ever-popular support services featuring account specific support technicians. A great deal of enthusiasm ensued the announcement of the hosting provider's first milestone in an ever-changing venue. The announcement comes only six weeks after the companies' first disclosure of the new project dubbed 'Phase II'. Touting special deals for existing customers, the latest news letter promised first shot at the new services before special offers are made to the public at large.
"Datavend is in close contact with its customers", says President and CEO of Datavend. "We do this to ensure their complete satisfaction and in doing so we can focus on offering products that meet their needs and stay true to emerging technologies. You won't find many companies operating like this, but we actually take the time to talk to our customers whether we are solving a problem or simply answering questions. If you respond to your customers with brief statements like 'we don't offer that' and 'the servers fine check your code', we would be out of business because that kind of support is far from unique."

| Increased e-mail chatter, longer hours and early meetings are just a few of the changes the team at Datavend Web Hosting are experiencing. Spokesperson for the service provider, Christine Holloway gave the following statement about the level of energy recently sweeping through the company. "The day we activated our first clients hosting account, we started planning our next phase of business. This is a dynamic industry.
